Supreme Court Lawyers Association (SCLA) filed complaint against Chief Justice of India Shri. D. Y. Chandrachud for his speech at Bar Council of India. The speech was allegedly given to spread hatred between different castes and community.
The prayers in the complaint are:
(a) Immediate direction for registration of FIR under sections 153-A, 409, 505(1) (b) (c) (2),120 (B),34 Indian Penal Code against Shri D.Y. Chandrachud, CJI and others for spreading hatred between different castes and communities with ulterior motive to fulfil the agenda of anti-national elements, who are willing to divide this country in the name of religion & castes and thereby to destroy the growth and development of the country;
(b) Directions to appropriate agencies like Intelligence Bureau (IB), Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Enforcement Directorate (ED) etc., to investigate the links between anti-national elements from abroad as given in detail in the present complaint, with accused Chief Justice of India Shri D.Y. Chandrachud and his both son Shri Chintan Chandrachud & Adv. Abhinav Chandrachud and their act of commission and omission in running their agenda and thereby causing serious damage to the growth and development of this country.
(c) Immediate action under sections 107, 144 etc., of Cr.P.C and other provisions of law to take preventive measures to stop the accused from committing similar offences.
